Idleness & Laziness
is the thief of time.
In this short article we
will harp on the strut and sluggishness. Let's start with a variety of
questions that people ask themselves, but they often get the same answers.
1. What is idleness?
2. What is laziness?
3. What is the difference
between idleness and laziness?
If we start with
idleness: idleness is a mental fatigue that affects people, which reduces the
will and activity of the individual. Laziness is a physical weariness that
occurs in people, which causes inactivity in the person who wants to achieve
something. Laziness is lower in rank than delusion. It is a spiritual weakness
in one's power.
idleness and laziness are
two different words in sound and meaning, but in many texts, you see these two
words with the same meaning, and writers use whichever comes first on their
tongue.
Ibn Hajar, while
recognizing two terms, made sense of it like this: " Inaction is the
individual who can do nothing in spite of having the power and strength.
Al-Jazi is the person who wants to do something but can't."
Sheikh Ayni, may God have
mercy on him, said to the narrator Abi Dawud when he was explaining the hadith:
"O God, I seek refuge in you from laziness and Idleness ".
He made sense of that
"neglectfulness is the soul that doesn't send itself to useful things and
laziness is the person who can't complete valuable things" of a less
skilled of a less capable individual to follow through with something.
What is the idleness?
idleness is one of the
mental illnesses that are under severe control in the world society, and it is
said that all people are found in this nature of idleness, but it differs in
the level it reaches. Humans are very comfortable and progressive creatures.
They are two very different things, as the Somali proverb says:
"After trouble comes
benefit". From there it is clear to us that suffering, suffering, despair
is the path to success, happiness and progress. Around that road there is a lot
of people who want to kill you and then lead you to failure, failure and a dark
future.
Types of idleness:
idleness happens to
people in different ways, and can be summarized in two main types which are:
1. Behavioral
Procrastination.
This kind of delusion is
very bad, and it makes the person always refuse to act by convincing himself
that there is an obstacle in his way.
For example, a person
convinces himself that he has little time and cannot do a task, or convinces
himself that he is not able to do that task and it requires strength and skill
that he does not have. People who suffer from this type of anxiety are usually
people who have little confidence and always fail to do something, but always
have a reason for their failure.
2: Decisional
Procrastination.
People who suffer from this type of anxiety are indecisive and find it difficult to do anything. These people are very afraid of making mistakes, and they always look for a situation where they can get things right before doing anything. becomes difficult and then causes them to become inactive.
